Blurred Vision

Blurred vision.

We all have it. We all function within it's parameters. Until clarity comes, and believe me, HE does. I remember the days all too well that all I could see was blurred. I was living in a fog of life that I considered to be "relevant" but not so much worth fighting for. Then HE came. HE, is my first love. His name is Jesus.

"Jesus then said, 'I came into the world to bring everything into the clear light of day, making all the distinctions clear, so that those who have never seen will see, and those who have made a great pretense of seeing will be exposed as blind.'" ~John 9:39 (MSG)

After our first meeting, HE showed me something I had never "seen" before. Love. It was some-kind-of-wonderful. From that day forward I knew love WAS worth fighting for. It is interesting when sight is restored how your life, that same life you had before when your vision was blurred, becomes something beautiful.

"To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory." ~Isaiah 61:3 (NLT)

When Jesus gave me my sight, vision no longer blurred, I was able to begin to live. 22 years of my life I had been blind, vision blurred at best. It is with this knowledge of sight that I go forth and tell others of this great gift. The gift of sight.

My prayer for YOU is that your sight is clear and you understand that your life is worth fighting for. Yes, it is a fight. It is not easy, nor is it free. But HE paid the ultimate price for YOUR life. YOUR sight. May you see with His eyes as you walk out your salvation.
